Why Donafly exists
Skip the gift card. Donafly me.
I first had the idea for Donafly more than 15 years ago. I never built it, because it was never going to make money. I'm building it now because I want it to exist.
It comes down to two problems.
The gift card problem
Someone writes you a reference, hosts you for dinner, or coaches your kid's team, and you want to do something nice. So it's a gift card, again. Giving to a cause they care about would mean more, but you'd have to know which one, find it, and do it all again for the next person. For a group, it's even harder.
Your causes have no home
Most of us support a few things we really care about: the food bank where we volunteer, the school our kids go to, the charity we're running a marathon for. There's no simple place to show them, and no easy way for the people around us to support them too.
So, Donafly
A free page for the causes you care about, at donafly.com/yourname. When someone wants to celebrate you or say thanks, they send a Donafly: a donation in your honor, split between those causes. Every gift goes through Every.org, a nonprofit, straight to the charities. Donafly takes nothing.
- Free to use
- 100% to charity
- Donafly takes $0
- Card and payment fees may apply.
Donafly is brand new and growing a few people at a time. If you have an idea, a question, or something isn't working, email hello@donafly.com. I read every message.
